🌱THE HEARTLAND PROJECT 20 - 22 November 2019🌱

The Heartland Project is back! 1,188 Indonesian Youths who joined this movement made it possible for 2,535 trees being planted across Indonesia in their homes, communities, and schools during the first event on June 21 - 23, 2019 (click here to read more).

Now we aim for 3,000 youths to join this collective solidarity movement! Including YOU!

Join the tree-planting movement WHEREVER you are in this world! YOU CHOOSE - whether to make it a personal project at your own backyard, or bring your community to restore burned land or ex-mining site, or plant the trees in your school area with your friends and teachers!

Ready to join? It's easy - just follow these steps:

1. Prepare the tree you want to plant

2. Plant the tree on 20 - 22 November (you can pick the date)

3. Take photos & videos of you and your tree and tag @youth_actkalimantan & @ranuwelum.foundation with your own story about why you choose to join this movement! (hashtag: #THEHEARTLANDPROJECT)

 In Palangka Raya (Central Kalimantan), we will engage youth to plant 2,000 trees in a burned forest at Tumbang Nusa Regency. (November 21st 2019)

(please contact SUMARNI if you want to join this). After we plant the trees we will have a discussion about the effect of forest fires to peat ecosystem and climate change, and how young people can be the catalysts for change.
