In celebrating the International Women’s Day 2021, RWF launched a campaign called BAWI (Brave, Aspiring, Wise, Intelligent). The purpose is to highlight the works and achievements by Dayak women who have inspired many people and impacted their communities.
One of the activity was a talk series. From March 1-7, RWF invited seven young women from various background and different sub tribes, to share about their communities and their works. This talk aimed to allow young people to learn from other Dayak women’s journey, principles, values and even their struggles.
Hosted by director of RWF, Emmanuela Shinta, BAWI talk series aired live via RWF instagram every 5 p.m. Here was the list of the guests.
