As representative of the Kalimantan youth movement, Muhammad Andi had the opportunity to share stories and experiences about Youth Act Kalimantan movement in mitigating floods and natural damage, particularly those that occur in Borneo, on December 1st 2022, at studio pro 2 RRI Palangka Raya. In that interview, Muhammad Andi was not alone. Widya Kumala, a women's and children's rights advocate from the Central Kalimantan Province PPA task team, and Sunarto Kanedi were also with him.

That interview with the theme "Character of Caring for the Environment and Mitigation of Flood Disasters" lasted about 30 minutes. In the conversation, Andi explained what the Kalimantan Youth Act was and what were its activities. The main focus of the conversation was the relief mission activities carried out by the Kalimantan Youth Act team regarding the flooding that occurred. Andi also explained that on December 4th, the Youth Act Kalimantan team would carry out a relief mission for flood victims in Sei Pinang Village, Kapuas Regency. Distributing food donations and health services are activities that will be carried out later. The floods that occurred in November are not the first floods that have occurred in 2022 but are the umpteenth time, recorded from January to November 2022 that floods have hit around 8 regencies in the Central Kalimantan region.

In the interview, Andi also said that the government and all levels of society, without exception, must pay attention to the current flood disaster. "Cooperation and collaboration are key to solving current environmental issues," said Andi. (MA)
