As the Indigenous Youth Digital Storytelling project aims for multiplication of indigenous digital storytellers, it seems that Ranu Welum achieved its mission.

Training4Trainers along with seed grants given to five participants from Indonesia, Malaysia, Bangladesh, South India and Northeast India were designed to support the indigenous filmmakers to produce a film and conduct a training for youth in their communities. The project ended in December, wrapped with a Live Premiere on Facebook on 17th December. As the outcome, not only we have five films/videos from five different indigenous communities, but there are total 191 indigenous youth have been trained on how to use media/phone to do a digital documentation.

We are very grateful for the support from our partners, donors and communities that we work with. Hopefully more stories from the ground be heard by global audience.
